Rue de Saules by Edmund Blood c 1970 by Mid-Century Modern Alternatives

Born in Hartlepool, Edmund Blood spent much of his adult life in Cumbria. He trained at both Camberwell School of Art and St Martin's College of Art in London. A gifted artist in painting, drawing and printmaking, he exhibited works at the Royal Society of Portrait Painters, Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour, Royal Society of British Artists and New English Art Club, to name but a few. Edmund Blood died young at just 55 years of age.
