Pourquoi II (1967) by John Bellany (RA, CBE)

Perhaps the most important work in John's career and one of the most important works by a British artist of the latter half of the twentieth century, Pourquoi was one of a small number of monumental paintings produced in 1967 following John's visit to the Buchenwald concentration camp in Germany
