A double self portrait based on Craig’s own experiences when working in retail at a gentleman’s outfitters in Brighton, before moving to Cumbria to focus on his art full time. In this painting Craig is both the salesman and the customer. There is also a nod to the surrealist artist René Magritte, with his famous L’Idée (The Idea) poster taped to the wall
