Richard Fitton exhibition plus much new work

3rd March, 2017

We're fast approaching our solo show for Richard Fitton, titled Relating to People, it will showcase at approximately twenty works of portrait and life studies, from Richard's sitters; a depiction as to how Richard responds to them and how they respond to Richard; think of opposing mirrors. We're looking forward to this immensely, and it will be the culmination of a very successful year with Richard at Castlegate. The exhibition will run from 8th to 29th April, with, as usual, the works released ahead of this date as they go live online. More of this to follow in the next few weeks.

Until Richard's show, we have a raft of new work into the gallery, shown HERE. New works of Langdale by Malcolm Croft and small portrait paintings by Alex Hain. Also new to the gallery, work by the late Bill Bell and two wonderful rare Lakeland works by the late Bill Peascod. Also, paintings by Michael Bennett and Marie Scott. As we always say, there's always works coming and going, it's what keeps it alive and growing.

All for now,
Steve and Christine
