A quick reminder that our major exhibition, Norman Cornish – A Centenary, opens it’s doors at 10am this Saturday 6th July, with a reception 12-2pm (gallery open 10-5pm as usual), the exhibition is viewable HERE

The exhibition is a collection of never-before-seen works, curated directly from the family/estate of the artist and is a true social history record of a working class community of the 1960s and 70s, now all but lost.

Please do join us if able this Saturday; it’s a chance to not only review these hitherto unseen works, but also chat with Norman’s immediate family about his art and life.

As usual, the gallery will be closed on the immediately preceding day (Friday 5th) to enable us to hang the exhibition in readiness for Saturday.

The exhibition will run until Friday 26th July, so if you can’t make it for doors-open, there’s time thereafter to come and take a look.

All for now, hope to see many of you during the course of July
