Our Nichola Theakston exhibition is now live HERE.  You may also see a page-turning catalogue HERE

Studying at the Jacob Cramer College of Art, Fine Art at Exeter and finally a Masters in Ceramics at Cardiff College of Art, Nichola has built an international reputation as a top class sculptor in ceramics, and is regarded as arguably the foremost sculptor of animal form at work today.

This exhibition showcases twenty two new works, including Nichola’s first ever sculptures in bronzes.  We have personally collected Nichola’s work for many years, and have long admired her skill, passion and determination to reach perfection in her art. We truly believe that in this body of work, she has achieved that.

All works are available to be secured now, and may be purchased with the aid of the Arts Council Own Art scheme, spreading the cost over ten equal monthly payments, without the addition of any interest.

Doors to the exhibition will open at 10am on Saturday 10th September, with a reception 12-2pm with your opportunity to meet and speak with Nichola. In addition, the gallery will have a full hanging of “wall art”, including works by Grayson Perry and new-to-the-gallery, Rebecca Swainston; more of that soon.

Hope to see many of you on the 10th, and for you to see what it is that has driven us to have collected Nichola’s work for many years.
