Last week of Fell and future events

27th April, 2014

We're entering the last week of our Sheila Fell exhibition. The response has been terrific, with the two weeks to date seeing over 2,000 people into the gallery to see the works. We've had people travelling from all parts of the UK and even into mainland Europe!! It truly is a must see, with works from the mid 1950s to a painting waiting to be finished at the time of her death in 1979. Twelve works have been sold/reserved to a very wide range of excited new owners, both within the UK and beyond. Six works still remain, so with a few days to go, here's your chance !!!

Away from Sheila, we've updated our exhibition list for the coming year some crackers to come, and with an ever changing mixed exhibition starting straight after Sheila Fell, including new works to the gallery from the likes of Paul Robinson, Percy Kelly, Chris Rigby, Peter Quinn, William Plumptre, Kate Bentley and Helen Fryer, and with new to the gallery artists including ceramic wall-artist Joe Morris and potter Tim Lake, we've much to look forward to.

We're also stretching out our fifteen minutes of fame. Not only have we appeared on BBC and ITV news for the Fell exhibition, we also have a two-page piece in this months Cumbria Life on investing in and displaying art. Additionally, we will appear on BBC Radio Cumbira Money Matters on Monday 28th April from 6-6:30 pm, talking about our journey into gallery ownership and investing in artworks. I'll (Steve) have to speak properly !!

See you all soon,

Steve and Christine
