British Art Fair selection of works
19th September, 2019
We're only a week away from packing up works for the British Art Fair at the Saatchi Gallery, London; doors will open on Thursday 3rd October and run until Sunday 6th. The event is one of the best in the London fair calendar focusing mainly (although not exclusively) on British 20th century works. A selection of the works we'll be exhibiting maybe seen HERE.
Many of the works we've held back specifically for this event, including a wonderful small painting by Sheila Fell from 1974; works by William Kennedy (one of the famous Glasgow Boys), John MacLaughlan Milne (know as the 5th Colourist); works by Norman Cornish (including a Pit Road painting previously retained by the Cornish family in their personal collection and just released); perhaps the earliest (and craziest pure "60s") of John Bellany paintings in existence from 1962 and a fabulous painting by Miles Richmond, painted whilst a Borough Group member under the guidance of David Bomberg.
Do let us know if you'd like a complimentary ticket to the fair; hope to see some of you there.
