A Winter Selection

8th December, 2017

Following on from the success of our Helen Tabor exhibition, which may be viewed until Saturday (9th), next week we'll have a full new gallery hang; A Winter Selection will be an ever-changing exhibition of works from many of our gallery artists together with art acquired on our seemingly never-ending travels around the UK. You may see the entire show HERE. Keep an eye out as we'll be bringing new work into the gallery on a weekly basis, including works by the talented Halima Cassell, due any day.

New work from the likes of Jess Pigott, Chris Rigby and Helen Fryer; ceramics from the studios of William Plumptre, Jim Malone and the late Edward Hughes are also available. Other names, to start with, include Sheila Fell, Joan Eardley, Winifred Nicholson and two wonderful works from Ian Norris, re-acquired from one of his earlier shows with us.

Next year will be very busy once again. We'll be exhibiting in January at the London Art Fair, with names such as Frank Auerbach, Leon Kossoff, Grayson Perry and Patrick Heron. Over Easter we'll be exhibiting works by the late John Bellany (RA), many of which have never before been seen. Other exhibitions as we go through the year will include Michael Bennett and Helen Fryer, towards the very end of the year.

Finally, the gallery will be closed over the festive period from Saturday 23rd to Friday 5th January, inclusive.

All for now, Steve and Christine
