A Winter Selection

29th November, 2021

An ever-changing selection

Well, this has certainly been another "interesting" year. To round it off and take us into 2022, we’ll be exhibiting an ever-changing collection of works, the initial incarnation maybe seen HERE.

The gallery is a constant flow of works coming in (both contemporary and Modern British (20th C)) and (thankfully) going out, and we’ll be representing that both online and in-gallery over the coming weeks.

New works just in include two wonderful medium-to large pieces by the late Norman Cornish. Works of this nature are now rare, even with our access to the Estate, so acquiring these two in the last couple of days was a thrill.

David Storey and much much more

Also on show are a new small body of paintings by the very talent David Storey, exhibited with works by Theodore Major (the most wonderful and powerful painting titled "Crucifixion in Wigan), Frank Auerbach, Duncan Grant, Eileen Cooper and Helen Fryer, to name but a few.

Lastly, a sincere thankyou to all who have supported us over the last almost two years (and of course, before), both with words and additions to your collections; it’s been more appreciated than you can know.

Best to you all,

Steve and Christine
