A Day in the Life exhibition goes live!
1st June, 2015
Our major 2015 exhibition, A Day in the Life, has gone live http://www.castlegatehouse.co.uk/exhibitions/a-day-in-the-life/ Catalogues start arriving in hallways today, and all works are available for sale from now.
There are forty five works from fifteen artists. Each gallery artist was given the theme last year and it’s been fascinating to see what each has produced and how the theme has been interpreted. In addition, we have works following the theme from some of the most collected and celebrated of 20th century names, including Sheila Fell (RA), Norman Cornish, Alan Lowndes, John Bratby (RA), John Thompson and Bill Bell.
The exhibition will be hung on Friday 12th June (we’ll be closed that day), and the doors will open at 10am on Saturday 13th. A reception, attended by many of the artists, will commence from 12pm until at least 2pm, with food, wine and live music from the hugely talented modern folk duo, The Left Outsides, from London. It’ll be a real celebration of the start of Summer, whatever the weather!
Hope to see many of you on the 13th.
