Richard Fitton - doors open this Saturday 8th Apil
5th April, 2017
A reminder that we open the doors at 10am this Saturday 8th April to Relating to People, our first solo exhibition from Richard Fitton, one of the UK’s most exciting young talents at work today.
This is a body of work created through last year and into this; over thirty paintings and works on paper of the small number of sitters used by Richard. Many of the works have sold already, but many wonderful paintings remain available and all will remain in the gallery for the duration, so the entire body of work may be seen, understood and appreciated throughout the exhibition, which will run until the 29th April.
The entire exhibition may be seen HERE.
As said, doors will open at 10am, with a reception from 12 noon until 2pm, with Richard in attendance to speak in his incredibly enthusiastic and passionate way about his work.
As always, all works may be purchased with the aid of the Arts Council OwnArt scheme, spreading the cost over ten months at zero interest.
Richard is an artist who produces works of great energy, passion and complexity. You really should try and get to see this exhibition, online viewing really doesn’t do Richard’s work justice.
Hope to see many of you on Saturday,
Steve and Christine
p.s. as usual, the gallery will be closed on Friday 7th April to allow us to rehang.
