LETTERS TO MY STEPDAUGHTER : February 21st - April 13th

LETTERS TO MY STEP-DAUGHTER Letters from Percy Kelly
1n 1970 Percy Kelly ran away from Cumbria with Chris Griffiths taking her 3 children aged 12, 8 and 6 with her. The eldest, Kim, became unhappy and ran away from home. Her father sent her to boarding school. In an attempt to keep her in touch with the family, the artist Percy Kelly wrote to her. The letters are each a painting; colourful and entertaining. This exhibition of over 40 letters and some paintings and prints all of which are for sale is fascinating.
Chris Wadsworth, Director if the gallery will be speaking about the letters, Percy Kelly and other things at the Theatre by the Lake Keswick at 12 noon on Sunday 1st March.
